Montréal, Québec, June 30, 2022 – EVAH Corp. is proud to announce the nomination of Frédéric Leduc as the company’s Chief Scientific Officer, once again demonstrating EVAH’s ability to attract experienced talent to its team. The company has grown steadily over the last year and now counts 25 employees, 70% of whom is scientific staff.

An impressive background
Frédéric Leduc has a truly remarkable professional and academic background. He is an active member of the scientific, biochemistry, business and environmental communities. As one example, since 2016 he has been on the board of directors at BIOQuébec, a non-profit organization representing the interests of Québec’s biotechnology and life sciences industry. His peers recently elected him chair of the organization’s board.
EVAH’s new Chief Scientific Officer is also an experienced businessman. He co-founded Immune Biosolutions, an innovative biotechnology company based in Québec. There, he was CEO for nearly a decade, where he secured the organization’s funding and built key partnerships in the development of new immunotherapy treatments in oncology and infectious diseases.
Leduc has a PhD in Biochemistry from Université de Sherbrooke, and has completed various academic and professional courses in business and leadership. He has received many prizes and awards, including a Youth Entrepreneurship Grand Prize from the OSEntreprendre Challenge.
“Frédéric is remarkably curious and proactive. These are critical qualities in our industry, where you always have to think ahead and grow with change. This is just one reason we’re confident that he will make an important contribution to EVAH,” says Michel Fortin, CEO at EVAH Corp. “He’s both a trained scientist and an experienced businessman.
